Covid-19 Procedures

Osteopaths are highly trained and regulated healthcare professionals. Osteopathy is one of the health services that are exempt from closing during the lockdown. Visiting your osteopath is classed as “seeking medical assistance”. So, if you are a patient travelling out of the county, you can attend our clinic for your osteopathy appointment. If you have symptoms of coronavirus, we kindly ask you not to attend the clinic.
Consent form and Covid safety procedures emailed prior to your appointment
Temperature check on arrival
Screening questionnaire
We ask our patients to wear a mask within our premises and keep 2m of social distancing
Hand sanitising stations are made available for you to use
Our NHS QR code is available for you to scan
We will be wearing full PPE throughout the appointment
We use a HEPA air filter in the treatment room at all time.
We allow gaps between appointments for cleaning and airing out of the treatment room, and full PPE replacement to be ready to welcome the next patient.
Our Covid-19 procedures were put in place to ensure both your safety and ours. We are confident in our risk assessment and will continue to evaluate these with the guidance outlined by the Welsh Assembly Government and our regulatory bodies.
