Who we are

With a professional background in the pharmaceutical field and enthusiastic to offer a safe and effective therapeutic approach, I decided to retrain as an osteopath. After 4 years of training for my Master’s degree, I fell in love with the beautiful Swansea and its community.

While studying for my Masters in Osteopathy at Swansea University, I earned additional qualifications in pitch side first aid training and kinesiology taping for the best management of sports injuries. I have a particular interest in treating headaches and stress-related issues. For this purpose, I took additional training in the osteopathic management of stress and anxiety. Lastly, I conducted my dissertation on the effects of osteopathy during and after pregnancy, along with further training in the osteopathic management of post-partum patients to best accompany mums during their recovery journey.

In my spare time, I enjoy practising yoga and meditation. As a culinary enthusiast, I also enjoy making all sorts of cuisines for my family.

I am a multilingual osteopath. Get in touch if you feel like practising your French during your appointment!

What we do

Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by using a combination of osteopathic techniques broadly grouped into soft-tissue techniques, myofascial release, muscle energy, joint articulation, manipulations and lymphatic drainage. It is appropriate for first-line management of most musculoskeletal complaints.

Osteopathic care is based on your individual needs as a patient and so varies depending on the diagnosis, how long you had the issue for, your age and your usual activities.

Osteopaths are highly trained and regulated healthcare professionals, as recognized by the NHS. At A1 Osteopathy Swansea clinic, we are registered osteopaths who base our practice on the osteopathic practice standards (OPS) to offer a safe, effective and ethical treatment to maintain high standards.
